Two Giveaways, One Day

It was our joy to attend not one but two events in the Charleston area promoting literacy on Saturday, March 2. At Felix Pinckney Community Center in North Charleston, we attended the Run for Literacy and gave free books to runners as they returned from the 5K course.

On Johns Island, we also had a table right next to the jump castles at Mt. Zion Elementary’s Reading Carnival and met many eager readers on their way to the fun events spread out across campus.

Between the two events, we gave away approximately 300 books! Thank you to all who stopped by and to both event organizers for having us at their events.
